Medieval Empires, the 13th-century multiplayer Web3 strategy game, is now officially live on the Epic Games Store. Built on blockchain technology and powered by Polygon and Immutable zkEVM, this historical RPG lets players build towns, train armies, and own digital land—all while navigating the politics and battles of the late 1200s.
Now available on Windows and macOS, the launch opens the game to nearly 300 million Epic Games users worldwide, significantly expanding its audience beyond traditional Web3 players.
"This launch marks a pivotal moment for accessibility and adoption in Web3 gaming," said Assad Dar, Co-founder and Chief Visionary Officer. "Our goal is to simplify blockchain integration for mainstream players—and Epic's reach allows us to do that on a massive scale."
The launch had a major impact on the $MEE token, which surged 240% in the week leading up to the announcement (source: CoinMarketCap), signaling strong interest from gamers and investors alike.
Set in the late 13th century, Medieval Empires follows the story of Ertuğrul Gazi, leader of the Kayi Turkic tribe, portrayed by Turkish actor Engin Altan Düzyatan. The game pits players against invading English Crusaders led by Edward Longshanks (later King Edward I).
