Pixion Games studio announced the release date of Season 4 and its new features as a season that will mark the official return of the game after the closed beta test period; in addition, as part of a unified update, all previous Season 5 content has been applied to this season.
Fableborne is a free-to-play action-RPG and strategy game in which players must build an island of their own, defend it, and also raid other islands.
The game combines hero combat, resource gathering, island upgrading, and arranging various defensive systems, with all battles taking place in an isometric view.
The Ronin network is the infrastructure of Fableborne, and therefore, it includes optional blockchain features. After the Token Generation Event (TGE), players can convert points earned through the airdrop system in the previous season, Season 4, or afterwards into $POWER tokens. The $POWER token is connected to a core system called the Power Protocol.
Fableborne is currently designed for mobile in both Android and iOS versions, and it is now offline after the end of its playtest period until the new season is prepared.
Among the most important key changes and updates of Fableborne Season 4 is the guild system, which plays the main social role of the game and is connected to the seasonal reward pool. Players can either create their own guild or join existing ones. Seventy percent of the revenue generated from the store in Season 4 (excluding Power Chests) will be added to the reward pool as $POWER tokens, and guild leaders will receive a portion of their members’ rewards.
A new layer called Guild Bounties, consisting of progression and challenges, has also been added. These vary from one raid to another and have limited objectives that players must complete during gameplay to receive Guild Glory.
In this season, a new hero named Ember is also introduced. She is a melee combatant with highly skilled fire martial arts. This hero can be unlocked throughout the season.
The extensive Ascendency system has also been added, allowing heroes and units to be upgraded. Each upgrade unlocks 5 new levels and provides rewards such as resources, currencies, or Ability Tomes.
And finally, alongside this season, the official in-game store has been added for purchasing in-game content. The payment system in this store supports both $POWER and fiat currency. When purchasing with $POWER, more content is offered compared to fiat payments. Also, 70% of the store’s revenue (excluding Power Chests) is transferred to the seasonal reward pool. The main competition among guilds is essentially to earn a larger share of this pool, and guild leaders always receive a percentage of their members’ rewards. This system results in player and guild activity influencing the overall distribution.
